Q. What age students do you accept?

A. We are now accepting students in school grades beginning at mid first grade through eighth grade.

Q. What would you recommend for a pre first grade child?

A. I suggest a program such as Kindermusik. http://www.kindermusikontheisland.com.

Q. How much should my child practice with the instrument outside the class?

A. At least fifteen minutes every day.

Q. What if I can't afford an instrument?

A. We have instruments at the academy that can be used on school property. Practice times may be arranged at the school on an individual basis. This depends on volunteer availability. We may have lender instruments later on.

Q. Where can I buy an instrument?

A. Talk to the teacher first.
